Soft grey not black I ordered medium and small would have been better. I really don't like the material

I have been looking for a casual and comfortable midi skirt. This works! I like it hits mid calf and is not too tight. I can adjust the draw string waist if needed. The black is more a dark washed gray but that's fine. I have some seasoft tops that will look nice but also plan to wear it with tees. I am a sz 12 and got the Large which spans 12-14. The medium might have worked too but be more fitted than comfortable. This is roomier but works for me.

This skirt looked to be be a good basic piece, but I didn't find it flattering personally. The elastic waist added to much bulk and it was too long. The 'Black" is actually a muddy faded charcoal color. The fabric is very heavy, by which I do not mean warmth but rather actual weight which makes it a poor choice for travel. Looks great on the models in product photos, but just not for me.
