Decent short, material is lacking. The short could have used another inch or two in length. There is no reason that an 8 your old needs such short shorts, but fit the purpose we needed (soccer). Seems hard to find normal shorts for kids these days. We bought and kept two pairs of these.

Love these! My daughter is seven and has a tiny waist so we have a lot of trouble finding shorts that fit. The elastic band on this is absolutely perfect and true to size. Highly recommend!

Cute summer shorts. Lightweight. Wash and dry well. The slip down a little off the waist, which is why I removed a star.
