I bought a size large in white. These shorts fit me very well and hit at a nice length. The pockets, zippers, and drawstring were also great. Unfortunately, even with nude underwear, in white these shorts are extremely see-thru so I will be returning them.

I am 4'-10", 100lbs and ordered the XS. They are HUGE and literally look like a potato sack on me. I think going down to XXS would still be too big. Sadly returning :(

Loved these shorts so I wore them for multiple trips… But unfortunately multiple washes and thick thighs combined both pairs I bought are now in the trash… not worth my money when my high school clothing still fits and holds up

Love the fit and length, but I had to pull the drawstring quite tight to keep them up. I am a small in everything i own from this brand so perhaps it was a medium that was mislabeled.

I ordered the linen pants in my normal size, way too big, so I sized down for the shorts, way too small. Disappointed as now I have 3 pairs of linen clothes that are too big or too small according to the recommendation from Athleta

These shorts are so comfortable, flattering, and unlike other linens, easy to steam or iron. I have them in four colors now! Pair beautifully with the linen muscle tanks (and I have 5 colors of those!!) The length is just right, not too short but also not too long. The pockets lay nicely, as others have mentioned.

Whoever designed these shorts, I wish I could give them a high five. One of my biggest pet peeves with linen clothing is that the linen pocket insert gets wrinkled when you wash it and leaves an annoying bulge on the outside (even when ironed, and who wants to iron??). These don't have that problem because a really smart person decided to use a smooth, silky, non-wrinkling fabric for the pocket. Also there is a zip closure to keep them from gaping open. As someone who sews and makes their own garments, this is *so* appreciated. Whoever did this, I hope you know how much you are appreciated!

I have two pairs of these and they are hands down the best linen shorts I've tried. They definitely beat out Quince. The material is thick and well made! Definitely recommend.

I bought these on the half-off sale recently, and I've gotten so many compliments. They fit my waist so well and are stylish, and most importantly super comfortable. I'm 135 and 5'3" for reference and bought the small. Length is perfect as a mom who's not looking for anything super short.

These shorts are made of very comfortable material. However, I don't have a thigh gap and because of that, these shorts ride up quite a bit while walking. I like these shorts for lounge days, but if you're doing something more active, I would opt for a different pairs.
