Great pants-poor quality control

These are my all time favourite pants. I have 2 or 3 pairs in every colour, all the same size. For reference I am 5 ft 4", approx 120lbs and I purchased in a size XXS as I find they tend to stretch out quite a bit after wearing for a while and they do fit big overall-just not in length-see rest of r...

AWFUL, What the heck Athleta?

I bought these last year and they are long gone to the Second Hand Store nearby. The waistline either sits up so high or the crotch seam is half way down to your knees. Bulky material across the stomach and the pockets on the backside were unflattering. I can't believe they are still for sale. ...

White color is sheer

These pants have a lot of characteristics of high quality pants, however, the white color looks sheer and the pockets are visibly thicker which makes the pants look cheap and overshadows the other nice details (zipper pockets). I do not recommend the white color unless you don't mind them being more on the sheer side.

These fit great when i first wore them but they shrank in the wash and they wrinkle horribly so i am actually upset that i recommended these and purchased more Athleta quality has gone way down unfortunately

I purchased in petite. I'm 5'4" and it hits right at the ankle. I love the look but I think next time I regular. I have a thick waist but narrow hips and these pants were not too loose in the hips and rear.

It seems the sizes keep getting bigger. Plus these seem to stretch out a complete size! I am normally a size XS in all Athleta pants, skorts, shorts etc and this past year I find their bottoms keep getting bigger! I have 3 pairs of linen pants from a few years ago that are perfectly fit in size XS and this style is WAY too big. Never thought I would need a XXS.When I first put them on they seemed pretty good, relaxed, and after one day of wear and stretching out, I wished I had bought them fitting more snug at the beginning of the day. Now I am stuck with these, only hope is to shrink them? or sell online....disappointed.

I love these pants so much I came back for more colors! The zipper pocket is super helpful and I love the split ankle. I am 5'4" and I bought the petit and they are perfect!

I bought this pant in white a few months ago and it is perfect. Order it in undied in the same size Small Petite and it's super long! Either they sent me Small Regular or the sizing is inconsistent for different colors. Exchanging this for XS Petite now as Small Petite is sold out, and ordered Small Petite in brown, hope the length is correct!

Inconsistent Sizing Across Athleta

This seems to be a common theme across Athleta after reading reviews on multiple products that I've purchased lately. I hope the trend does not continue, but it seems that fast fashion is going this way. More corners being cut equals inconsistent sizing and no price difference until the sale hits. The quality still seems to be there however I bought both black and undyed medium pants this season and the black are about an inch and a half longer. I am hesitant to buy petite and then have them be too short or shrink shorter in the wash even though I hang them to dry. Likely after I have washed them I will hem them to my desired length but they are currently dragging on the ground past my shoes and the hem on the black will be ruined in a short time. I'm 5'4", 162lbs and normally buy a medium regular.

These are soon to be a favorite this summer. I love that they were the perfect length for me without an hassle and they fit beautifully -- just want I was looking for. The added bonus is the zip pockets which is going to be useful when running errands and staying hands-free -- I mean a girl needs her hands for a beverage, right?

These are alright but not worth the price. There are much better options elsewhere. It's a shame Athleta decided to discontinue the linen pant with zippered pockets as that one was amazing! I'm so glad I got many colors before they went. I always get compliments on those!

Nice pants but won't last longer than one season

I bought a pair of these last spring and loved them - wore them all summer, and popped them into storage over the winter. Pulled them out again two weeks ago, and noticed today a massive hole in the crotch, nearly 2*2 inches, and the other side got so threadbare in sure a hole will appear next time I wear them. At this price point I expect to get more than six months of wear from a pair of pants.
