Yikes. I love barrel and cropped, but at 5'6" this was too long to looked cropped. It looked dorky. Also, the volume of the barrel was huge. For reference, I bought 3 colors of the high waist wide leg linen pants in regular length last year and LOVE them.

These are really nice pants. Well-made and cool for summer. They're a little bit more tailored than floppy linen pants so they can be dressed up. I especially like the zipper pockets. I bought them in black and green. I'm petite but even so, the barrel leg is very flattering.

I live in FL and will live in these. I'm 5'3 and 125lbs and the size small (petite) is perfect. In some other pants, the petite size has been a smidge too short, but these are good even after the dryer.

I love the new barrel style they give an updated look compared the to the regular straight leg linen pants. I'm short 5'0 110 lbs, so no hemming required with these and they actually sit above the ankles. A great length for us short ladies. I ordered the XXS Petite and they fit and look great.

I was pleasantly surprised by these pants. I'm 5'3", petite, and 115#. I thought that the barrel crop pant would be more cropped and might make me look dowdy. I did not want to try the retreat linen wide leg pants because I thought that they would be too long and drag on the ground, even in a petite length. The crop pants in a small in the petite length are not too short. The length and fit are perfect for my build and height, and are very flattering in the cacti color. I am purchasing the Getaway Linen Blend Muscle Tank to go with it. I think the cropped length at 21 5/8" would look most flattering with the silhouette of the pants. Athleta, please post length on the barrel crop pant in the petite length on your website.
