i'm usually a size xs or 2 in athleta leggings. but this one, being high compression, is super duper snug. i can fit into it but...i will exchange it for a small. there is a waist string which is a plus, in case the waist needs extra support from sliding. but i doubt this legging will have that problem. at 5'2" the petite sits above ankle. i may opt for regular length which gives 2 more inches for a fuller leg fit.
