I bought these pants in store and was genuinely SO overwhelmed by how big they were. I am usually s/m in leggings and got a small bit should've gotten and xs. I've washed these with no problems for 3 months this and just took them out of the washer to find the cinch elastic at the bottom torn off the pants. Like completely snapped. And it wasn't tightened at all going into the washer. Shouldn't happen to pants priced this high. I expect better quality.

In my experience, these pants run TTS. I purchased a size Small and am usually in between a size 4-6 in bottoms. In the size small, they fit perfectly at the waist, with the ability to provide more give or tighten it with the cord, and fit perfectly oversized throughout the leg. They aren't 100% opaque but they're opaque enough with skin coloured undergarments, such that nothing will be on display. The rise is closer to mid-rise IMO.

I actually really love this fit! I have a hard time finding wide leg pants that hang nice on my large thighs and small waist. I ordered these in a small and I'm usually a medium in pants to fit my butt and legs and they fit perfect! They do make a crinkle noise when you walk but that's just part of the material

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The poplin is so soft and the quality is classic Athleta. Love, Love! Sure hate I missed out in black.

These pants are way too baggy! If the leggings in the same order were XL, these are twice as big! The first customer service representative saw the comparison photos and agreed to a refund, but when I found out I needed a return slip, I contacted customer service again, and they replied that because it was the final sale item, a refund wasn't possible! Basically, no refund! Nothing I said helped! The sizing is clearly the problem; if I could wear them, why would I want a refund?! It's clearly the seller's sizing that's unreasonable, and yet the consumer has to pay the price!

I took a chance despite reading the same in other reviews - but yes, the white is very see through. Would probably be fun for a twenty-something by the beach but not for my forty-something in the city :( Got size S did fit well (roomy) for my jean size 30/31 hips.
