I am 5'6". The size chart, along with customer reviews, lead me to believe a size medium would work best for me. Sadly, they were too big and I had to return them. Disappointing because I really like them and they are excellent quality. It's too bad more reviews don't include the customers size s...tats, as I think that would be relevant and helpful when trying to determine correct size.
Not what I expected and I probably could have sized down. Wish they were lined and had a drawstring but they'll be nice for summer.

I love these shorts! They are very comfortable for my morning walk, but also for just lounging around the house. I plan to pack them for my next beach vacation to throw on over my swim suit. There's a zipper pocket within one of the pockets, which I also love. (One can never have enough pockets)

I prefer the Weekender mid rise style because your phone looks weird in these pockets. This style is slightly dressier than the Weekender though. These are nice shorts though that is why I still gave them 5 stars.
