For reference, I'm 6'2 and around 70 kg (about 154 lb), and the fit is perfect. I ordered the rain jacket in a tall size M, hoping for longer sleeves—and it delivered! The sleeves are nicely extended, even covering part of my hands, which is perfect. The material feels very pleasant and high quality.... I'm actually looking forward to rainy weather just to test how waterproof it is. It also has an extra lining, which adds comfort, and the hood is spacious and well-designed—it really creates a "roof" effect, so rain doesn't drip onto your face. Very well thought out. It would be amazing if they made a similar version but longer, maybe down to the knees—I would definitely buy it!

I ordered this jacket a couple of years ago in my regular size XL. In Gap and Old Navy, sometimes XL is too big for me, so I thought I was safe. A couple years ago, this jacket was very tight across my bust, but I kept it anyway. I wished I could have returned if for a 1X, but it was out of stock. F...inally now two years later, I noticed them back in stock in 1X, and it arrived today, and it's huge on me! So disappointing. This version doesn't 'nip in' at the waist like the last one did, so this new version not as flattering, in my opinion. It does have a drawstring inside for more waist definition, but it's still not as flattering. The cuff at the hand does have a snap to make the opening smaller, but I don't like how the sleeve hangs down over my hand. I loved the old one; I just wanted it bigger around my chest. Now this new one is so big, but I'd have to order the XL to compare, and that's a lot of money to tie up, and returns aren't easy from Canada. I wish we could return to a Gap or Old Navy store. Like everyone has said, the color is perfect. The length is great (just above knee length to cover longer tunics or cardigans). I'm 38D, 5'6", 200lbs, for reference.

This jacket is absolutely amazing. When Athleta says it is rainproof, they truly mean it. I purchased this jacket specifically for my trip to Ireland in early June, and it ended up being one of the best purchases I made for the entire trip. Not only is it practical, but it is also stylish and looks great with both leggings and jeans. During my time in Ireland, there was not a single day without some rain, and this jacket kept me completely dry every day. It performed exactly as advertised. What impressed me even more was how well it worked as a windbreaker. Ireland can be incredibly windy, especially along the coast, and there were many times when I was grateful for the extra protection from the wind. It kept me comfortable, warm, and dry throughout the trip. Before deciding on this jacket, I purchased several other rainproof jackets and in the end, I returned all of them because none of them felt as well-made, comfortable, or attractive as this one. Looking back, I know I made the right choice. If you are looking for a jacket that is both functional and stylish, I highly recommend this one. It kept me warm, dry, and comfortable through rainy, windy Irish weather, and I would purchase it again without hesitation.
