Athleta made really versatile functional skorts last few years, until this year, all the skorts changed to pockets in the shorts underneath which is terrible for holding the phone and other small items like keys and cards. Not only the legging pockets feel insecure, also they cannot hold more items....

Really quality skort. I love the trim. Didn't keep since I already have the plain black and the pink w stripe border. Shorts stay in place with this style which I love! Super comfy and perfect length for a short 4'11" person.

I have 5 of these from last year (2025) that I love and wear on a weekly rotation to play tennis. I was so excited for the teal color and to stock up on more black and navy but it's a pass for me. The sizing is not consistent, they changed the material, and they even made the band thinner compared to last year's. I am so disappointed. Just when I thought I found my lifelong tennis skort, athleta went and changed it on me.

This seems comfortable, the design is cute but I'm not sure I'll wear it. The line under the cross is visible and looks weird despite not really being tight. It's like VPL in the front...maybe if you have no hips/booty it works if it just hangs?
