These are wonderful running shorts with side pockets. They are compressive, yet comfortable and flattering. Good length but the waistband hits at a weird part of my waist that is not super flattering and the "covers" over the pockets took me a minute to figure out. They're fine but unlikely to be my "go-to" running shorts.

I think these run a tad small. I wear small or medium in the 4 inch mid rise running shorts and med in ON bike shorts. 5'6" 140lbs. My thighs are not large and I bulge a bit at the hem in these. The material is comfortable and I like the covered side pockets but will not order another pair.

These are not my favorite shorts only because of the fabric, which I think is a bit light and maybe even sheer. They fit great, are very comfy. Pocket is a bit small and hard to negotiate but they are small shorts. They stay put and don't ride up
