I bought these because they're high waisted and had an interior pocket that fits a phone. However, my first 12 mile run in the humid south was miserable. These felt like a diaper by mile 6. They are way too heavy and hold onto sweat. I've never had shorts make me miserable on a long run, so I didn't test them out beforehand. These did. Second, you can't use the interior pocket for a phone, it jiggles SO bad. After running 5-6 steps, I had to stop and take it out and move it to my vest. I like that these shorts have actual pockets so I would use these for casual wear, but not actually running.
