I had a heck of a time trying to decipher the differences between the transcend and salutation tights. I even called to ask a rep, which didn't shed help much. So far I've tried the transcend (T) and just got the salutation (S). Here are the differences I noticed so far: T is buttery soft but in a... slippery way so you know shirts, dresses, tunics, sweaters won't stick to it when you move (nor hair or fur). S is buttery soft too but with some traction so you'll find some hair and fluff will stick to it far more. T won't roll down so much as it'll slip down. The stretch seems more lengthwise than widthwise which causes you the urge to pull the material up from the legs as there's a sensation of the tight wanting to pull down gradually. S seems to stay put. The material is totally different but both are thin and feel luxurious. Lastly, the biggest diff I noticed off bat was the waistband. The S waistband is much more substantial (wider, thicker) like it won't bunch up and feels a bit higher (and tad looser) whereas the T bunches up (or rather down). Hope this helped someone! :) P.S. I usually wear a large in the other similar less expensive brand but got XL in these. I think I could've gone for an L for slightly more compression but was afraid of the waistband rolling. Bottom line, for my purposes of everyday wear in and out of the studio, I would've loved a T tight with an S waistband.
