I have a few pairs of the 7 inch shorts, but the 5 inch are perhaps my new favourite. They're long enough to prevent chub rub, but more flattering I think. The pockets are great! They're sleek. 5'5 and 150lb I bought the large.

Comfortable shorts, love the high waist. I wore these for a high intensity weight lifting class. Don't love the draw string because 1) I don't need it and 2) it rubs and is a bit uncomfortable. I bought the bright pink, and while I love the color, I feel that it does highlight underwear lines and lumps and bumps more than a dark color.

Bought the shorts as they were on sale, but now that I've worn them, I would honestly buy them at regular price. They fit true to size - I'm 5'3", 155 lbs - and they are snug but not tight or uncomfortable. I wear them for long walks and they don't ride up or down and the length is perfect for preventing any chafing, especially on hot/humid days.

I loved these when I purchased them in black so I jumped on the chance to get pink pair on sale. NOT the same quality. The color is pretty but you have to wear a nude color underwear or you will see the color of your thong or panties through the shorts. The stitching also started to fray after the second wear which was supper disappointing. I feel disappointed because these just aren't the quality I expect from athleta.

Great for workouts, high compression is accurate.

Love them, and they're just what I wanted. Pockets are helpful! The compression is strong, and I know it was supposed to be. So I shouldn't take off a star for that, but it does make them ever so slightly less comfortable. Just a good thing to note. They do their job as designed.
