I'm surprised at some of the other reviews because I actually love this! The mesh part of the bra threw me off guard at first because it's literally just see-through, but has the additional two layers on top and the mesh makes it super breathable so for me that's worth it because my chest gets so sw...eaty when the girls are mashed down ha. I can see why this would be an issue for larger chests though, but I plan to use this for hiking and lower-impact workouts like weight training. I ordered my regular size (M, 34C) and it fits perfectly. Please make more colors!
This top is a thin mesh shelf bra with two layered tanks on top of it. The tanks are cute and fit true to size, nice lightweight fabric, flattering. The built in bra is awful. I'm a 34b, bought my normal Athleta size small. The elastic of the shelf bra is incredibly tight and uncomfortable and I can...'t imagine trying to fit anything over a B cup in it. There are no pockets in which to add modesty inserts and the mesh bra fabric is very thin. Total headlight situation. I like the tank portion enough to keep it but will cut the shelf bra out and wear my own sports bra underneath. (I also got this shirt with rewards points so…)

athleta.gap.com/The "bra" is nothing but tight mesh with an elastic band. I'm a small c cup and it did not at all feel supportive. It runs at least one size too small, looks super odd when on like there's material missing. Lastly, it's super awkward to put on and take off, the back gets all bunched up. I'm super bummed because it looks so cute and different from the other offerings.

athleta.gap.com/design is flawed - the bra part is pretty useless, just a sheer mesh shelf bra with no padding or construction - and then one tight layered tank and another loose tank. The 3 layers just dont all fit the same so it's awkward. Theres a lot of material.

athleta.gap.com/I'm 5'9", 36A, 150 lbs. Bought this in a medium & a large, as I sometimes have to size up due to my broad shoulders & muscular back. The large was too big. The medium fit but I did not like the way the inner liner was cut - it made the skin in my armpit area bulge in an unflattering way. Back it goes.

athleta.gap.com/I originally ordered this top in size large. But it runs very small so returned for XL. Fits perfect and I love the built in bra. The bottom layer hits right at the hip and the outer layer a bit shorter. I highly recommend!

athleta.gap.com/Love the fabric and fit (like always!), Athleta. But for those of us in the C/D cup range, please put in the bra pads that are in the item description. This is just a sheer panel bra that'll do diddly if you're actually trying to work out in this top :/ And if you do wear a bra with it, then you're wearing 3 layers. (Not fun in August.)

athleta.gap.com/There's three layers, the one closest to you is mesh. I'm returning the two colors I got. The second and third layer are too snug to look like the model photo. Size up.
