True maxi length. I am 5'3 and hits a couple inches above my ankle in petite sizing. Flattering dress that will be good for many occasions during the hot summer. I did go a size up based on reviews and it skims rather than clings.

I'm age 61, and I can still wear this dress as it's so thoughtfully designed. It does fit snugly but the ruching is lovely - and worn with a sweater it's versatile. The teal color is gorgeous. I am 6' tall but I bought the regular length in store and it's plenty long.
