I've been a frequent Athleta shopper since it's inception, and I think this is the first review I've done. I cannot help but share feedback on possibly the best trench coat I've ever owned and potentially my all-time favourite Athleta item. The fabric is absolutely incredible. Silky soft and sooo...o lightweight. It feels utterly luxurious. I hesitated due to the price of this item but after seeing it in person, I would gladly pay it again and again. I also hesitated because the coat has no zipper or buttons but somehow magically this stays perfectly in place with a simple tie of the belt. It is so slimming and flattering and all of the little details (hefty pocket zippers, gathers at the sleeves, etc) just make for a fantastic trench that I know i'll be wearing for years and years to come. Athleta - please, please, please make this in other colours…I would quickly scoop this up again in camel or light beige. So well done!!!

I love the look of the trench coat: it's the perfect length, colour, looks great from the back, the front as well when open, and it's very comfortable. I'm just unsure of how I feel with the way it looks closer from the front, not sure if it's the most flattering on me.

Just what I needed! Love this trench coat, it drapes beautifully and looks and feels quality. The only thing I'm a bit concerned abt is the description only mentions UPF ability, but not abt being waterproof in rain? The reviews mention it is great in rain so I'm putting my faith in that it is true, my rainy trip to Scotland will depend on it!

I've been looking for a trench that is feminine and doesn't make that loud "swoosh" noise that cheap ones do. This is elegant and lays beautifully! It's not too thick but can be worn over a sweater for a little warmth if needed. Overall a fantastic purchase!
