Not a barrel leg

Too much fabric around hips and barely tapers at the bottom. Unflattering, floppy with scratchy linen. Banana Republic makes a much nicer one.

I really like the shape of the pants. However, the fabric had runs in it and started pilling within the first wear, which isn't ideal for such an expensive pair of pants.

5'7" 130lbs - ordered the XS Tall just to have them be about ankle length on me, so glad I did -- LOVE the fit. They are slim and polished looking. The white is only a tiny bit sheer in that you cant wear anything other than nude or white undies. Athleta's linen is great, high quality and holds up nice! many of my shirts are 1-2 years old and they still look just a new as the pants I just ordered.

This style just doesn't look good on short people. I ordered a medium petite and it looked terrible. The fit and fabric are fine, but I should have known to stay away from anything cropped.

These are my favorite pants. I have now purchased 4 pair all in different colors. I am a very small build so the xxsmall fit very nicely. Neat in the waist and not too baggy through the hips as they drape nicely. Very comfortable in my Arizona climate. Can go with a number of things to dress up or down and will definitely pack them on vacations. Great purchase especially when on sale.
