Functional and fashionable

I have a few pairs of the 7 inch shorts, but the 5 inch are perhaps my new favourite. They're long enough to prevent chub rub, but more flattering I think. The pockets are great! They're sleek. 5'5 and 150lb I bought the large.

Fit is great but after a typical workout I looked like I peed myself. I was actually nervous I would see someone I know at the gym!

Good for running but the 5in isn't long enough, I wish Athleta didn't discontinue the 7in this year as these are my favorite running shorts and the 5in is just too short… have to put on a lot of body glide to prevent chaffing. Now have to look elsewhere for another longer pair as the 5in just rolled up and didn't stay in place well for a run

Fits great, although not super flattering in the inner thigh part. Not like I have much fat there (I'm 5'3" 106lbs) and yet it cuts in. That being said, super comfy, and I could stay in these all day. Don't ride up while working out!
