One of the leg cuffs arrived damaged. Product returned. Colour also see through at butt when the doubled up material from the band isn't available. This style is great for leggings & joggers but not for short shorts.

I recently discovered Athleta shorts again. It's a nice change to my other good brand of active wear. I bought several of these 5" Sal shorts in different colors. They stay put and wear well. Sweat does show a bit but I do not care. I work out hard!

Love the Sal shorts in 5" and here's why: I like the way they stay put around my thick thighs during stuff like burpees and HIIT classes. I often make use of the pocket for my phone to and from gym class. I'm 5'00" 116lbs and love the XS. I have these in several colors. I've used many brands- but these are a great price and very sturdy.

These are nice shorts. They do run a bit small though. The material is a little bit heavier so they aren't as stretchy and comfortable as the buttery, soft fabric, but are still a great workout option.
